Station Tesla Supercharger

Metalco contributed to the realization of the Tesla Supercharger station located at the Aosta Autoporto, inaugurated on July 3rd, 2015. This opening marked Tesla’s fourth Supercharger station in Italy and, at the time, the largest Supercharger station in Europe.

As part of the project, Metalco designed and manufactured six dedicated shelters intended to integrate photovoltaic modules. The layout included two solar-covered structures, accommodating up to 12 vehicles and generating a total output of 30 kWp, thanks to 126 installed solar panels. The shelters feature a sober and contemporary architectural language, combining strong lines with a contrasting selection of materials. The robustness of painted steel is paired with the refinement of fiberglass, resulting in a solution that is functional, durable, and aesthetically consistent with Tesla’s innovative and sustainable DNA.
