Urban Skate Park

Within a dense and vibrant urban fabric, the City of Cannes sought to integrate a skatepark at the very heart of the city. The challenge was multifaceted: to support a rapidly growing sporting and cultural practice, to turn the site into a true intergenerational gathering place, and to secure nighttime use. Public lighting thus became a key lever to reveal the site’s identity, enhance conviviality, and support an inclusive urban culture.

Agora Makers supports this project by illuminating an emblematic skatepark through a global and sensitive approach to public space. The integration of GHM poles topped with ECLATEC’s iconic XEON projectors delivers far more than functional lighting: controlled lighting atmospheres, RGBW options, visual content projection, integrated security and immersive sound. A high value-added project where light structures the experience, enhances uses, and transforms the skatepark into a spectacular and unifying urban living space.
